Pink Zinic 16 - 5 RoX.KIS.Ladies

December 4, 2009

Pink Zinic wins again and this time against Russian team called RoX.KIS.Ladies. The map was de_nuke and it was rather fast. Our girls are still on top with badGirlsclan trying to take the first place in group. Apparently Spain got some new talents to show but our girls are not afraid and we believe they’ll do their best. The upcoming matches are: Pink Zinic vs Frankfurt 69ers (06.12.2009 21:00 CET) and Pink Zinic vs badGirlsclan (10.12.2009 21:CET). Be sure to watch both of them and cheer for the pink power!

zAAz interviewed before Dreamhack

November 25, 2009

Read a short interview with zAAz just before she went to Jönköping below - first matches start on Thursday afternoon.

What are your goals for the tournament?

ZINIC|zAAz: Our goal is to try and play as good as possible and of course, we hope to beat many boy-teams.

Did you have any special form of preparation for the tournament?

We played and played and that’s actually because we took a new player, so we had to practice with her as we had to feel how it is to play with her in a perfect way and of course so that we can get used to the new situation.

How do you feel about Julie joining Pink Zinic?

It feels really good with her in the team. She knows how to play and that’s what we needed and wanted in this team. So welcome once again Julie!

Pink Zinic is like a hurricane lately: just unstoppable. After the first two matches in EMS you lost only 5 rounds which is amazing. Is there anybody who can stop you from winning EMS again?

We all in the team only want to win. It’s the first thing we think about, and yes of course having fun in-game as well, but we don’t have any problems with that as the joy factor is there. We will do our best again so it shouldn’t be any problem but of course we all know that the last thing you should do is to not underestimate any team at all… Despite to that, always a little luck is needed, so wish us good luck :)

Who will be your toughest opponent, are you able to fight against top male teams?

I think BTB and mouseports will be our hardest opponents. Yes, I have answered a lot on that question and I got a bit tired of it already (smiles). Everyone knows what had happened vs. top male teams so we should just skip that question. But only god knows what will happen in the future, maybe it will come a day there every female team owns the guys :o.. Hehe kidding =)

Attending Dreamhack means signing autographs and taking pictures, do you consider yourself as a star? Do you feel like one?

Is it okey if I lie a little bit? Nah haha, tbh.. sometimes it feels like I am a star especially when I am out on an event and when people coming to me and asking for photos and autographs. It’s like a really good feeling. Always when stuff like that happens I think like “Oh god so I am a “famous” girl for real…” Haha…

I wanna say Hi to my fans out there and thanks for all your support… Keep cheering for us, it really makes us happy and helps!
Have a good day and take care… Peace out!

Zinic’s Dreamhack Winter schedule

November 24, 2009

On the 26.11.2009 in Jönköping, Sweden, Dreamhack winter 2009 will take place and Pink Zinic will be there to participate in the tournament and meet with the fans. After nisse left the team, girls were looking for the fifth player who can fit both their game style and character. After hours of searching for the perfect match, they’ve found Julie. Now, the new Pink Zinic roster will have an opportunity to present themselves to a larger crowd. Doing great in ESL Major Series, they want to prove to skeptics that girls can also win something big against guys.

Also on Wednesday, Julie is going to have a photo shoot in Copenhagen, Denmark, after which the whole Pink Zinic management team together with beautiful German will head to Sweden by car picking up zAAz and IpSa on their way to Jönköping. Inzane is going straight to Dreamhack town from Stockholm and Irene flys from Spain to Gothenburg and takes a bus to have a safe ride. Whole Pink Zinic meets up at night, day before the official start.

Girls will have to face top notch teams as Dreamhack is known for having best players on every tournament. Four Swedish world class teams, SK Gaming, MYM, H2K and Begrip will be there. To make it even more interesting Danes from mTw and Spirit of Amiga are coming as well. Teams from a cross the ocean will join DH. Evil Geniuses and compLexity will do their best to defeat the opponents but USA is not famous for having good Counter Strike teams. We’ll find out in what shape they are very soon.

EMS V: Pink Zinic 16:4 Flawless

November 19, 2009

Today, 8 matches will be played in the second playday of ESL Major Series. Our girls will face Polish team named Flawless which includes known nicknames like shilla or DeeDee but after winning 16 - 1 against German Infernal Gamers; Pink Zinic shouldn’t lose this one. Especially with statement from the Flawless girls:

Hello

Well, tomorrow We will play our second match with our starts - Pink Zinic
We love this team
We are faithful fans and we take example from Pink Zinic game
We give our life for them and if we could, we would give them w/o because they are our stars :D

HF !!:D

Also, there are 7 other games to be played. Team ALNTERNATE will face PMS 1.6. Germans won over Tempus Moriendi 16 - 7 and PMS lost to mousesports 16 - 9 which was a little bit surprising. Guardians will face TBH.MSI who won over Team SPEEDLINK already and placed 1st in their group so far. Team SPEEDLINK will play against unFinished. They need to focus right now and get back on track.

Mousesports is going to play against ESC ICY BOX EMS. Russians have to start playing just like they did on PET and beat their opponents with higher scores if they want to pull out a nice game against Pink Zinic once more. The reason for this might be roster change. Olga Pak swapped with Elena Urusova. We will see if that was a good change or not very soon.

Girls from iNNERFiRE who lost their first match to eSuba.sapphire ladies, will now face French Be-The-Best. Tempus Moriendi who lost to PMS 1.6 will play against eXcellentia. It’s going to be the first match Swedes and big chance for Poles to show what they are capable of. Last but not least, Aurora Gaming starts EMS with match against Burning! who had a draw in match against unFinished. We’re definitely looking forward to that.

HLTV will be provided for all matches and stay tuned for live updates here, on myzinic.com.

September 5, 2009

Hello everybody!

What’s up with you all? Everything okay? I do pretty well those days! Time to write a blogg right? Hehe….

The time is 00:45 right now… I have to sleep soon so I can wake up too school in time. I just took a shower :D feels really good. It has been a tough day today, been in school until 16.00 then I went to my brother’s job and then I went home. So right now I am really tired but decided too write a short blog before I go to bed! Good idea ha?

I havn’t played CS since ESL Major Series Finals in Germany, I was thinking about to do it soon at any time but I have school to think about those days. I wanna fix my school really good now, I’m ready for it! I wish myself good luck and please wish me all good luck cuz I need it guys :D. But soon I have to play Counter-Strike again with my team as I seriously started to miss it alreadyto be honest haha *sounds like a geek*.

Getting the first place as we did in Germany there is the best feeling… don’t you think so? Can you get better feeling than that? I love to win, it makes me really happy and satisfied and shows that all the efforts and hours for practicing are actually worth something and pay off. That is exactly why I go to events but not just because of that, it is because of I have fun when I play and it just give me a good time. I belive in my girls very much and it creates such a great atmosphere being with them on events.

Okey, I think I have to go to bed now, don’t have so much too say this time and don’t want to bore you. You can think about anything I could write about for the next time. Maybe something you want to know about me, or do you have any questions about the team or our game? Just post in the comments and I will answer it in my next blog. …have to wake up at 07.00 - too early!!

Before I say goodnight, I wanna thank everyone who is supporting us, wanna thank our sponsors and I wanna say Hi to all My Fans out there!

Oh and I forgot something important, I wanna say HEY TO slop3 from rakaka.se - below is a picture that you (?) made I think =)

And last but not least: Visit www.zinicauction.com (Would be a nice favor from you!)

Video: Zinic plays at the Norton booth

June 23, 2009

InzaneHey folks,

the weather became so awesome outside those days that the practice has to be scheduled in the evenings, which is also pretty fine and a fair deal overall I guess.

I am in Stockholm right now to do some work here and earn some cash over the summer, money is always good, isn’t it? ;) At the end of the week, IpSa will go on vacation to the country with that charming name El Salvador, which ones again explains why we have to play with a stand in at the Roskilde Festival from July 2nd till 5th near Copenhagen, Denmark.

Actually we still have a couple of shorter and longer clips and videointerviews from Dreamhack ready for you to watch. Today we want to show you a short video which shows Nisse and Inzane playing against IpSa and zAAz at the Norton booth at aim map. Watch the video to find out who won - click here!

Check www.ZINICAUCTION.com - we guarantee you the lowest prices in Europe!

Hello everyone!

As you maybe all know, my name is Zainab “zAAz” Turkie.

I came home from Denmark yesterday and will go there again now on Friday. I was there with the girls  from zinic for quite some time. We played alot. First we had a bootcamp and then we played at Slap Live in Denmark…

I think we played good at the bootcamp and at the LAN (Slap Live) but ofc we could have done better.. But w/e we learnt from our mistakes right???? :D Oh and I forgot to say that me and IpSa where playing the 2on2 thing at the Tivoli in Denmark during Copenhagen Esports Challenge and yeah it didn’t went sooooo good because we played aztec and me and IpSa didn’t trained it… we just trained dust2 and nuke :$ haha..

Check all the pictures here and leave a comment: Zinic Flickr

A few weeks ago, we took many photos in Denmark of where we stand with weapons and nice clothes, I have never had so much fun for a long time like I had on the photoshoot for Zinic! I just wanted to do it again and again and again!

Hmmmmmmmm dont know what to write anymore :( I think I’m gonna sleep now although the clock just shows 6 pm..

Take care people and thanks for reading!

Bye!

During today’s press conference which takes place in Copenhagen, Denmark at 11:30 CET this lineup was announced and presented which is one of the most successful and known ones worldwide within the Counter-Strike female scene. It is comprised of five girls from Scandinavia, which recently won ESWC Masters, the most important Counter-Strike event for female gamers. These girls are more famous than almost any other gamers in the world as they had for example their own show on MTV that was shown all over the world for 10 episodes.

This team and their fanpage - which will be launched shortly after the press conference - are able to open the door for our partners in the market that consists of millions of young people that have strong purchasing power. These young people have three things in common: They are interested in tech products, the internet, and competitive gaming which is known as Esports. We will unite Esports and good looking girls which makes it possible to present gaming to a larger audience and disprove stereotypes that associate gaming with ‘dark room, no friends, chips and cola’.

The girls will not only act as players during online and offline tournaments, but many more activities will go on, which will be explained in detail at a later time. Come to Copenhagen, join our presentation, get in contact with the girls and see who our partners and sponsors are. We have exclusive information and material for you that you can only catch during the press conference - take a look beyond our new team. Our goal is to create a new way for eSports, get rid of stereotypes and open it for people outside the eSports and gaming community with sponsors and you as a media partner who believes in our ideas.

Who are the people behind this project?
Mr. Bo Sachmann, former CEO of Sponsormatic ApS (Sportfive Denmark) and today Chairman of Sponsormatic ApS. Never underestimate opponents

April 3, 2009

February, 05th 2009 - written by MYM|zAAz originally on myMYM.com

Helloooooooo again m8s!

I’m sitting down here with so much headache… tablets don’t seem to work.
My day today has been long and I’m tired like always *haha*. I am not going to write so much in my blog this time and that’s because I can’t stand my headache.

I haven’t played anything today because I didn’t have time for it. Tomorrow is Friday and thats really great! I like weekends guess why? Haha, cuz I LOVE to sleep all day long.

I’m gonna write a little bit about UGT. If you’re wondering how it went for me, it didn’t go so good. I won 3 matches and then when it was time to play against the 4th player I lost with 10-5. Why? Because I underestimated him really really much. I had played against him several times on LAN and online and I won all the times I played against him. But there is one thing I really have learned and that is to NEVER UNDERESTIMATE MY OPPONENTS. I will keep that my head for the next lan.

And Im finishing with pictures from UGT and the wedding I went to last Sunday, here you can see:
