When we announced last week on Friday the new Zinic team in Copenhagen, Denmark we hold a press conference with press representatives from whole Europe in order  to make sure that all our fans are able to know what is going on.

For Poland we had Dawid aka Venomen in Denmark live on track to report for the Polish audience, especially for his page Gameback.pl. He did two photo galleries which you can find while clicking the links below:

Now also an audio interview with me was posted where I answer a couple of questions regarding the competition between boys and girls in gaming, our new team and much more.

I think we played good at the bootcamp and at the LAN (Slap Live) but ofc we could have done better.. But w/e we learnt from our mistakes right???? :D Oh and I forgot to say that me and IpSa where playing the 2on2 thing at the Tivoli in Denmark during Copenhagen Esports Challenge and yeah it didn’t went sooooo good because we played aztec and me and IpSa didn’t trained it… we just trained dust2 and nuke :$ haha..

April 17, 2009

Hell it is about time to launch a hot new and exciting brand within in the eSports scene. Today the new Counter-Strike female team of Pink Zinic is born featuring the following lineup:

Louise ‘AurorA’ Thomsen
Sofie ‘nisse’ Adolfsson
Zainab ‘zAAz’ Turkie
Sophie ‘inzane’ Regner

Anette ‘Cazzidy’ Skarderud

During today’s press conference which takes place in Copenhagen, Denmark at 11:30 CET this lineup was announced and presented which is one of the most successful and known ones worldwide within the Counter-Strike female scene. It is comprised of five girls from Scandinavia, which recently won ESWC Masters, the most important Counter-Strike event for female gamers. They also took the victory at the ESL EMS Season 2 where they won 500 Euro and got crowned at the best online female CS team. These girls are more famous than almost any other gamers in the world as they had for example their own show on MTV that was shown all over the world for 10 episodes.

This team and their fanpage - which will be launched shortly after the press conference - are able to open the door for our partners in the market that consists of millions of young people that have strong purchasing power. These young people have three things in common: They are interested in tech products, the internet, and competitive gaming which is known as Esports. We will unite Esports and good looking girls which makes it possible to present gaming to a larger audience and disprove stereotypes that associate gaming with ‘dark room, no friends, chips and cola’.

The girls will not only act as players during online and offline tournaments, but many more activities will go on, which will be explained in detail at a later time. Come to Copenhagen, join our presentation, get in contact with the girls and see who our partners and sponsors are. We have exclusive information and material for you that you can only catch during the press conference - take a look beyond our new team. Our goal is to create a new way for eSports, get rid of stereotypes and open it for people outside the eSports and gaming community with sponsors and you as a media partner who believes in our ideas.
